• Account Information: Email address, password (encrypted), date of birth
• Avatar Data: Custom avatar configurations you create
• User Content: Posts, messages, and photos you upload

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location Data: GPS location when you create posts (only with permission)
• Device Information: Device type, OS version, unique identifiers
• Usage Data: Features you use, interactions within the app

3. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account
• Enable location-based post discovery
• Match you with other users based on avatar descriptions
• Facilitate messaging between matched users
• Send push notifications about matches and messages

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

• With Other Users: Your avatar and posts are visible at locations
• Service Providers: Supabase (database), Google Maps (location), Expo (notifications)
• Legal Requirements: When required by law

5. Your Rights

• Access: View your data in app settings
• Correction: Update your profile anytime
• Deletion: Delete your account in Profile > Delete Account
• Location: Disable location access in device settings

6. Data Security

We implement encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure password hashing, and Row-Level Security policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Backtrack is for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
